What is the Aura?
Imagine a sponge soaked in water…there is water inside as well as around the sponge. Similarly, energy flowing inside and around the physical body in a defined space is called the aura.
The auric field has seven layers. The layer which is the closest to the body is very dense. It is easy for many healers to feel it, clairvoyants to see it and special imaging systems to capture it.
What was once considered a metaphysical concept is now accepted and proven by science. Various techniques used to diagnose disturbances in the aura can forecast the onset of some diseases up to six months in advance.
What are Chakras?
The aura is not uniformly distributed across the body. It is concentrated in certain parts and appears like a vortex i.e. flowing in a circular manner. This appearance of the energy vortices is known as Chakras - which also means ‘wheels’ in Sanskrit.
Although there are numerous chakras in the body, seven of them govern the major life processes through seven endocrine glands.
How do chakras play a role in our life?
You are what you think. Normally, we have certain belief systems that we manifest. The way we perceive the world depends a lot on the beliefs we carry. In other words our outer world is a reflection of the world within. If we need to make a difference in our inner and outer world, we need to make a difference in our beliefs.
The seven major chakras represent our seven core attributes. They correspond to the seven steps of our spiritual, personal and organizational growth. When we dissolve blocks at the level of each chakra, we are essentially overcoming obstacles in our evolution and growth.
About our Energy System
The entire universe is a manifestation of energy.
Energies on this planet range from gross to subtle levels which can be perceived through physical senses as well as scientifically proved and documented. However, the vibrational frequency of different energy forms is different. E.g. the vibration of energy present in a leaf is very different from that present in a lion, which in turn differs totally from that of a human being.
Similarly, there are various higher vibrations of energy present in the universe, the frequency range of which is higher than what can be perceived by the human senses and somewhere beyond scientific understanding.
Ultimately, all matter in the universe is energy including thoughts, emotions, love and even money.
Energy can neither be created nor destroyed. It can simply be ‘transformed’ and ‘transmuted’. All forms of energy are inter-convertible.
Energy is abundantly available to us in the universe. Yet, we feel deprived of it and experience lack of love, money, security and stability in life. This happens in our system not because there is a lack of energy but because unknowingly we ourselves have created blocks to the inflow and outflow of energy in our space. These blocks could possibly exist because of thinking patterns, beliefs, and trapped emotions.
